'''It seems to me that we arcology enthusiasts are at a point where we could use some academic involvement. I think it would be value added to see some grad students working out several different models including costs and construction times. I'd love to read a paper or three on various economic models that would make an arcology self- sustaining. It'd be helpful to all of us to get a study or two published in a serious academic journal. As a potential investor, I'd like to see what "responsible" people have to say about the idea before I slap hundreds of millions of dollars down on the table. '''

JustusDahinden in Switzerland and Austria is emeritus of TU Vienna and has vigurously supported concepts of "urban hills" never realized and rarely published; great kinship with Arcology.
