I did engineering and economics at Cambridge, learned Chartered Accountancy with Coopers and Lybrand in London, did a period of accounting and management and computerization in the US corporate world, became CFO of a US based international company, and then spent a good few years as a consultant paid for by the World Bank, the UN and others.
